Journeys should be shared. Which is why we invite you to join up with Matt for a stage this summer! We’ll set you up with a fundraising portal and help to work out the logistics. Below you’ll see stages that have already been organized. If you feel up to it, drop us a line!
The Grand Climb
Starting in Phoenix Arizona, the Grand Climb Stage rolls North East straight up and along the continental divide before placing the riders in Denver. In total the stage is about 9 days 850 miles.
Joining Matt on this stage will be B4B veterans Adam, Rex, and Steve along with a few fresh faces. Riders will be joining Matt in Arizona at the Diamondbacks game on May 10th and caravan up through the Rockies all the way to Coors Field in Denver on May 20th. And finish off the ride with a kids clinic with Big Brothers Big Sisters of CO!
Each of our riders is charged with fundraising to cover expenses as well as contribute to program costs for Biking for Baseball for the 2015 season. Read about each rider and contribute to their campaign below. If you’d like to join up give us a call! We’d love to add to the team.
Meet Your Grand Climb Support Riders
Cory Palencia is a Fort Collins native and expert fixie rider. He's a first time B4B'er, and is yet undecided if he's going to bring a derailleur.
Not only is Adam a founder and Chairman of the Board of Biking for Baseball, he actually cropped the president OUT of his photo.
Steve did the B4B ride in 2012 and has since become a program specialist at BBBS in CO. He does a fantastic British accent.
Rex is a founder, 2012 team rider, and serves as the "Director of Dugout ops" for B4B. He struggles hitting a curveball, roots for the Rockies, and insists that Dinger is not the worst mascot in sports.
